What does the anti-submarine strap actually do? It prevents you from sliding forward under the lap belt during a hard stop or rollover — a failure mode called “submarining.” Standard 4-point harnesses don’t have this. If you’re running aggressive terrain, it’s worth having.

Should I get the 3” or 2” 5-point harness? The 3” straps spread load across a wider area — better for bigger riders or all-day trail runs. The 2” 5-point is a slightly slimmer profile and fits tighter cab configurations.

Does it work with my UTV’s seat belt sensor? Some UTVs like Polaris RZR and Can-Am have seat belt sensors. You may need a seat belt bypass plug to prevent warning lights.
