- Details: Add timeless romance to your wedding day with this exquisite and RARE vintage bride and groom cake topper! Hand-painted in a soft, muted color palette with delicate details, this 1930s-era chalkware set is a charming piece of wedding history. The couple stands underneath an intricate, heart-shaped wire arch adorned with original netting/tulle and three large pink roses. Never use water to clean chalkware; it can dissolve the plaster. Based on the materials, style and fashion, we've dated this topper to the 1930's - 1940's. There are some condition issues, please see below.
- How to Use: This is a hard to find topper, perfect for the collector. Add to wedding cake for a classic vintage look. Can also be used as display at a bridal shower. Can be repurposed for craft projects.
- Materials: Chalkware, Tulle, Wire
- Dimensions: Figure is approx 6.0 inches Tall and 6.0 inches Wide (at widest point).
- Condition: Vintage - Used. Very Good Vintage Condition. This is a genuine pre-loved item showing beautiful vintage patina. The chalkware is in very good condition, however it has yellowed over time, so has the tulle. The bride has lost her bouquet. There was a small piece in the bag we received, could potentially be the bouquet and hand, we're including it in case you'd like to try and figure out where it belongs and re-attach. The wire structure is secure, however, very gentle handling is required as the chalkware is susceptible to breakage.
