General Information
Crystal Clear ClarityMax with Activated Barley is designed to restore balance to the pond ecosystem by breaking down organic material that creates problems for pond hobbyists in and around waterfalls, rocks, stream beds, plant pots, pumps and filtration systems.

Works quickly and efficiently to clean the pond by reducing sludge in the pond and in filtration devices. Reduces cloudy water by precipitating organic and inorganic particles.

Contains Activated Barley, harnessing the natural degrading powers of barley and combining them with the natural powers of strong bacteria and enzyme colonies. Several inert, natural ingredients are added to achieve a 3-in-1 product. No more messy, unsightly barley bales to contend with or smelly bacteria products.

Prior to using, the following conditions must exist for best results:

• pH of water maintained between 6.6 and 9.0.
• Water temperature above 60°F (15°C).
• Dissolved oxygen levels above 3 ppm (3 mg/l).

Standard Application Rate
1/4 Cup treats 1,000-gallons
1/2 Cup treats 2,000-gallons
3/4 Cup treats 3,000-gallons
1 Cup treats 4,000-gallons

*Treat pond 2-3 times the first week at suggested rates, then 10-14 days thereafter until problem has been resolved. For more severe problems, use a double application.

Application Directions
Apply over the surface area or around the perimeter of the pond in dry form. Be careful not to let product dust plant cover. Immediately after application, the pond may become cloudy. This is a normal process and should clear within 24-48 hours. Allow 3 to 4 weeks for pond to balance.
