Grandma's Nativity Ball | Christmas Beeswax Candle

We were always in a rush to put the Christmas tree up, because then we got to enjoy the lights and the treats that much sooner. Grandma's hands moved slowly. Little Hannah often commented on her veins and the worn places. "Oh the stories these hands can tell," Grandma would say. And then she would tell them. There was always a gospel message or a moral in there somewhere. 

She loved nativity-themed decor. She collected all kinds: wooden, metal, fine art prints, ones made out of play dough by little hands and ones from all over the world. Her beeswax ball with a nativity scene on it was my favorite. It was a candle, but she never burned it. The years had given it a beautiful bloom and patina. The other kids and I would take turns holding it and smelling its sweet honey fragrance. Grandma's house was full of little reminders of the loving God who sent his son to earth for us.

Made of premium, cosmetic-grade beeswax with no added fragrance or color. Wick is 100% cotton.
