Scrimshawed tall ship, whale's tail and Compass Rose on a Rough Rider RR139 knife and inked with India ink, three coats of archival wax buffed in and polished to protect the artwork. Back side is blank. Stainless steel blades. Comes boxed. The Artwork is scribed into the polished bone. Ink is applied, then the excess is wiped away, leaving the artwork. Once completely dry, three coats of archival wax (Renaissance wax) is applied and buffed in to protect the artwork. Scrimshawed by Andrew Perkins, initials and year on artwork. As each knife scale is hand made of natural material, differences in the patina, pattern and coloring will occur.
