THICK-LINE Canyoning rope

A hyper static and ultralight 9.8mm rope for heavy use!

Light as a feather and extremely durable due to the thick rope sheath. This 9.8mm rope has the same weight per meter as an 8mm polyester rope or a 9mm polyamide rope.

The highly cut- and abrasion resistant fibers in the sheath (Aramid with UV protection, Dyneema, Polyester) and the lightweight core make this rope a perfect combination.

It floats easily and is ultra-light for its diameter. The fibers are water repellent and the rope stay light when wet.

The “big” diameter gives a great grip and handling.

The rope is CE marked and meets the requirements of Regulation (EU) 2016/425 on personal protective equipment.
The rope is tested according to EN1891 type B*

Rope Shrinkage:
During use the rope will shrink due to fiber and construction shrinkage, expect a length reduction.
Our ropes shrink less than most – but there is no standardized test for rope shrinkage during use, and the amount of shrinkage will vary with the details of usage.
Expect up to 8% length reduction over time.

Note: This rope is not recommended to use with the TAZ LOV3 for TRS, as the sheath is slippery and outside it's scope.
