Developed by the Whitewater Research and Safety Institute, the Current Pro builds on the proven platform of the popular Current Helmet with added safety features for higher-risk paddling environments. The multi-impact shell combines ABS plastic with a polyurethane sub-shell and EVA foam liner to effectively dissipate repeated impacts, and a plush breathable liner compresses and conforms to your head for a secure, comfortable fit that holds up through a long day on the water. The liner removes easily for drying, washing, or replacement when it wears out.

What separates the Current Pro from a basic whitewater helmet is the Interconnect Retention System. As hydraulic forces push the helmet back, the system self-adjusts to hold it firmly in place, a genuinely important feature in the kind of high-volume water where helmets are most needed. The adjustable O-Brace Harness conforms to the back of the head for additional positioning security. Removable perforated earpads add warmth and reduce wave impact without interfering with hearing, and a visor keeps sun and rain clear of your eyes while adding a layer of facial protection.
